I know it has been a while since the last update. Summer is a busy time, however I have seen some of the recent issues with the market on the latest version. I am currently working on updating our ROM to the latest upstream patches as well as some of the fixes I had been working on before Summer Madness hit. 
Keep an eye on the site this week. Update is coming!

R u all talking about verison 3.0.27? This verson will closed about about 10 second and a pop up with Force Close pops up. Any fix is great..
ALSO WANT TO SAY I LOVE THIS ROM!! I want gtabcomb but came back to this rom.. It is myfavorite Rom. Keep up the great work!!!
Can’t wait for the update!!Thanks for all the work you do. Honeycomb is pretty slick but the Vegan builds have been the most usable roms I have ever used. I can do almost anything I want on this device thanks to you. I watch movies, play tons of games, I have not used my laptop but a few times since april!! I do wish it would boot up a little faster. Seems the more programs I have the slower it boots. Have to say though it is just a fantastic build!! I am sure the update will address the minor issues I had!

New market interface crash and force to close in my gtablet runing vegantab gingeredition, any one else with the same problem?
An Update is coming that will fix this problem. Working on it right now as a matter of fact.
For the Market crash, all you have to do is change the language to English (United States) and it’s fixed.

keyboards are causing the market issue. it works well with the split keyboard that came with the rom. Changed it to another key board, it crashes.set language to english in settings,it sets the keyboard back and ran without crashing.
This worked for me! All I had to set was the language to English and no more crashes!!! Posting from my tablet.

I love this rom. Its been incredibly stable, fast and fun. Flash could be s bit smoother. Netflix works great.
Would be nice if there was a way to incorporate some of the honeycomb apps into this room, eg new mail and gmail, new YouTube.

So excited to find out about the update coming! Love this rom! Like a couple of others have said, I too keeptying others only to come back to this rom. It has been the best combination of stable/feature-filled I have found. Thanks totally your hard work!
Hi thank you for the great work. I have noticed that the only issue for the general user is that Skype pulled their app support for this Rom does anyone know if this can be fixed somehow? The only resonance I ask is because. There are no other apps that do tablet to PC’s video calls. Thanks vegan-tab supporter.
Thanks for the Market fix. Looking forward to an update. Love the Rom! I have a few apps when I go to access them it will not give me the blue download button. Any solutions!
This is a known issue with the ROM it’s self. Some of the app devs. don’t support the ROM. Like skype for one Maps is another one. I really don’t know why, maybe its something in the Ginger coding with this Rom but it should work by all outlooks?
After a single install form the market, each time I open the marlet, afetr about 15 seconds it forecloses. What have I missed?

See post above by Church and Billy. This fixed my problem with Market same as yours. Just change Lanuage insettings. Works great thanks to Church and Billy.
Confirming that setting language to English fixes market crash.

Is there anything that can be done to get Plants vs Zombies working (stable) with this ROM?
Hopefully this edition will include the Video Hardware Acceleration/Decoding. But looking forward to any updates. Keep up the great work!
Vegan is by far the best ROM out there for the GTablet. I’ve tried cyanogen, TNT Lite, Bottle of Smoke, etc, etc, etc….I always come back to Vegan.

hi , im wanna try this rom , but i have 1.2 , i need to download to 1.1 , how i do that , sorry for bother you in this post , im new with my gtablet in “flasback” that is 1.2 , i have learn a lot in the past 2 hours , but i cant find a post in how to downgrade.

Look for instructions on gtabdevs or slatedroid forums in the gtab section. Also gtablet for dummies probably has instructions.
android market keeps autoupdating itself to a new version that won’t let me download several useful apps. you can keep uninstalling the update in Settings->Applications->Manage applications->Downloaded->Market->Uninstall updates, but it immediately updates itself again after opening the market. anybody know how to prevent the market from autoupdating to the nerfed version?
Okay found a solution… rename MarketUpdater.apk in /system/app to something like MarketUpdater.bak. this prevents the market from updating itself to the nerfed market. /system is mounted read-only by default but you can accomplish this by doing the following in Terminal Emulator:
su
mount -w -o remount /system
mv /system/app/MarketUpdater.apk /system/app/MarketUpdater.bak
I am getting a little frustrated. Please tell me what I am missing. Was running 5.1 no problem but when I try this it hangs at the dev screen. Bootloader 1.1, tried nvflash to stock and started again same thing. Using the guide from xda [GUIDE] Install ClockworkMod, a ROM, Flash Player, and the Market Fix. Should I not be doing the format step?
Nevermind, after 2 days, 2 factory restores, 4 repartions, etc. This little post fixed it, reinstalled after everything fine.

Maybe try mounting system and data and formating them. This has always worked for me.
I just installed and I love it. Very stable so far. My only issue is the camera crashes after a few seconds. I can’t take any pictures or any video. I didn’t see any other users with that experience. Any advice?
Great ROM. Makes what would have been a practically useless device into a machine that is a steal of a deal to buy and a stable, efficient tool.
Looking forward to any and all updates.
Those of you looking for support withthe ROM need to go to the forums pointed out in his previous post, lots of good info there and experience.

New ROM works great! But for some reason everything I choose from the android market is “Not supported on this device”. I’m at a lose on how to resolve this. Even apps I know work are unavailable. Can anyone give me some help here.

Try force closing and clearing android market data in application settings. This also happens to me.
Did you read comments here? Because Rich’s post above solved the problem for me. I also tried Karl’s advice and did the same for Google Services Framework. Another thing to try is the steps under Access to Full Market at this page:

None of this worked for me until I did what Rich explained, but I think I probably needed to clear all the data at the same time too.
If you don’t want to use the terminal all the steps can be done with ES File Explorer, which ironically is one of the programs that I could not install from the market– I installed from their website.
HELP!! can’t install cwm after installing latest version for 1.2 bootloader. someone know what to do or what version of cwm to use.
Plus, I am having issues using keyboard and mice. mice, for example, cant click, it just moves to the left side.
Other than that, great rom.
I love the ROM, but my USB mouse isn’t working. No X but cursor that doesn’t work instead. Also hbog loads but when I go to pick show it wont play it. It just loops like its starting. Rathersnnoying.

im using GingerEditoin 7.0.0 on the G-Tablet. the stock web browser crashes when using facebook. also, 4 out of 5 videos taken are not playable. and when using Skype, i can see and hear my friends, and they can hear me, but they cant see me. theres obviously something wrong with the camera. pictures work, though.
also: USB keyboard works fine. but USB mouse doesnt. i can see the cursor, and move it where i want, but as soon as i click, the cursor jumps to the far left-hand side of the screen.
I hope the new update fixes the Pandora slow song issue. That is my only problem!
